Peppol Portal, with its registered office located in Opdorp-Buggenhout, undertakes to respect and carefully comply with the European privacy legislation GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)¹ for the protection of personal data. This regulation has been in effect since May 25, 2018. Personal data are processed in accordance with this legislation.

YOUR CONSENT

Peppol Portal only processes personal data to comply with a legal obligation or if these were provided for the execution of an agreement. By doing so, you expressly grant Peppol Portal permission to process your personal data for the intended purposes. Personal data are only processed in secure environments and systems. These are not accessible to the public. All our employees also receive clear guidelines and are sensitized and made aware regarding the handling and processing of your personal data.

USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Peppol Portal guarantees that:

• your personal data are only collected and processed to carry out the assignment requested by you or to comply with legal service requirements;
• your personal data are only processed in a country belonging to the European Union;
• the processing of your personal data remains limited to the intended objective;
• your personal data are only kept during the period of service provision, unless a longer legal retention period is mandatory;
• your personal data can only be transferred to other organizations to comply with legal obligations, or at the express request of judicial authorities or police services;
• in no other case will your personal data be transferred to third parties, nor will they be used for direct marketing purposes;

Your rights as a data subject

• You always have the (legal) right to inspect your personal data.
• You always have the (legal) right to supplement or correct your personal data in whole or in part. If Peppol Portal no longer has legal grounds regarding the further processing of your data, or if your data are no longer necessary for the intended service provision, you have the right to have your personal data deleted.

Questions regarding the processing of your personal data or requests regarding the data we process for you can be addressed to the managing director. This can be done by post addressed to Peppol Portal, Brusselmansstraat 13, 9255 Buggenhout-Opdorp or by sending an email to hallo@peppolportal.be. We undertake to answer your question or request within 20 working days.

If you believe that your data are being processed unlawfully, you can also always contact the CBPL (Commission for the Protection of Privacy), also known as the Privacy Commission, via the email address commission@privacycommission.be.
